If you use a van, certain types of commercial vehicles or a twin axle trailer, or if you wish to recycle inert waste you must apply for a free permit before you visit one of our recycling centres.
All successful permit applications will be processed for printing and posted out on the next working day. Please allow up to 7 days to receive your permit. A member of the Waste Management Group will contact you if there are any queries regarding your permit application.
Permits are only available to people living within the county council's boundaries.
Types of waste permits
There are three types of permits available to access our recycling centres.
